Here is a short english summary about The Norton Club Netherlands. First we welcome our foreign visitors on the new website. Ofcourse we are a dutch motorcycle club, so all the info material is in our own native language.
But we still hope that you look around in this site and will enjoy the content anyway. A little history; Norton Club Nederland was founded on the 15th of April 1974. A group of enthousiast came together on that memorabel day and started the whole thing!
The members kept coming and the NCN grew rapidly. In those years nobody would have thought that Norton Motorcycles would not last and mearly rode the machines.After the factory closed in 1978 it was evident that Norton was going to be an exceptional motorcycle to ride/own.
Members started to take great care for the Norton Club and with their enthousiasm our club still excists in the year 2007 and hopefully onwards.But a lot has changed, who could have believed then in the early seventies that one day the Norton Club Nederland would have it's own website!!
Fact is that there a still some 400 members in our club who keep their Norton's in running shape and visit each other on rally's troughout the country.Ofcourse there are also members who love the mechanics and don't ride there Norton at all.
But they are all very welcome in our club, because we all share the same passion and that is ofcourse the unapproachable Norton!
